My narrative is significant because...

The main thing I wanted readers to understand about my educational experience was that even though I was unconfident and intimidated by being in EMT school, I was able to power through my fears and come out on the other side a different person. I believe that everyone second guesses themselves once in a while, and sometimes that can set them back in their goals. I felt this starting to happen to me, but I didn't let it. I now think of any new opportunity not as something to be scared or nervous about, but as a learning experience. And because of that I have learned a lot about myself. After my training, It was very rewarding to be able to say that I accomplished something significant to me. What made me even more proud was knowing how close I was to letting my fears get the best of me.  If someone looked at me after reading my narrative with the "And so......" look on their face, I would tell them my narrative is significant because it’s important to know if you let your fears stop you from accomplishing you goals, you'll never know how capable you really are. I would also say that it is always important to challenge yourself!
